For most of my life, I believed productivity was about speed. The faster I worked, the more I could check off my list, the better I’d feel at the end of the day. But somewhere along the way, that pace left me drained — and ironically, less productive.

It wasn’t until I started slowing down that I discovered something surprising: getting more done doesn’t always mean going faster. Sometimes, the real hack is to pause.


The Myth of Constant Hustle

We’re taught that busyness equals success. But rushing from task to task often means we’re only half-present, making mistakes, and burning energy on things that don’t matter. Slowing down forces us to choose what’s actually important.
